Marta observes her native town of Calabria having recently returned there with her mother and sister after growing up in\u00a0<\/em>Switzerland. Being thirteen, she feels like a stranger in this devastated corner of southern Italy. She is now old enough to be confirmed and joining a catechism class is the best way to try to fit in. However, far from her \u201ccelestial\u201d dreams, she merely discovers the little compromises made by the community.<\/em><\/p>\n
