La India fue uno de los primeros pa\u00edses del mundo que se liber\u00f3 en el siglo XX del yugo colonial. Esta liberaci\u00f3n fue la consecuencia de la divisi\u00f3n y del nacimiento de Pakist\u00e1n, luego de Bangladesh. Casi un mill\u00f3n de personas murieron y varios millones fueron desarraigados, forzadas a reinstalarse en solo algunos a\u00f1os, a cientos de kil\u00f3metros de su habitaci\u00f3n de origen. La divisi\u00f3n represent\u00f3 uno de los desplazamientos humanos m\u00e1s\u00a0<\/em>grande de la historia. \u201cOmbre et P\u00e9nombre\u201d es a la vez una pintura hist\u00f3rica y social realista, y el relato de varios diferentes pero ligados y condenados destinos, del abandono de sus sue\u00f1os, por causa de esta presi\u00f3n social ejercida por su grupo de pertenencia. \u201cOmbre et P\u00e9nombre\u201d habla de dos familias \u2013 una hind\u00fa\u2019 expulsada de Lahore, y la otra musulmana que decide quedarse en la India- un destino de amores cruzados…<\/em><\/p>\n
