Abu Shadi es un padre divorciado y un profesor de la escuela en es mediados de los años 60 viviendo en Nazareth. Después es la boda de la hija en un mes que él vivirá solo. Shadi, es el hijo de arquitecto, llega de Roma después de que los años en el extranjero para ayudar son el padre en la entrega de la mano las invitaciones de boda a cada invitado según el costumbre local palestino. El par tal cual alejado pasa el día juntos, los detalles tensos de su relación vienen a un desafío delantero sus vidas frágiles y muy diferentes.
