Tomas sees his father that the weekends. All the adults who surround Tomas, except Carmen, are as satellites adrift, distant from the child and taken away from themselves.

Tomas refugie in his internal world and in its relation with Carmen, with that he shares disturbing one intimacy. Carmen speaks to him about the legend of a ghost of a woman, the Llorona, a woman who flooded her children in a river and whom since grinds at night by looking for them. This story obsesses the child even more when he discovers the presence of a woman beggar who lives in the jungle behind its house with its dogs.

That for Carmen was only a game, becomes for Tomas a reality. Tomas begins to love the ghost / woman in the forest. He passes beyond the wall of his house to go to his search.
