EVA DOESN’T SLEEP (EVITA) by Pablo Agüero (Argentina). Selected at the Toronto Film Festival and at the International Film Festival of San Sebastian (in competition), the film received an enthusiastic welcome at the Mar del Plata Film Festival. Some days after the film was in theatrical release in Argentina between the two rounds of the presidential elections. The theatrical releases in France by Pyramide Distribution is programmed for the 6th of April (Pyramide International is in charge of the world sales), and the film will be on screen in Greece and in Spain for the beginning of the spring. For these theatrical releases the film obtained the support of the new fund for distribution by the Torino Film Lab. Before Mar del Plata le film was selected in Roma and Tallin, and now it is expected at Geneva at the FILMAR Festival, La Habana (Cuba), Goa in India, Sevilla, Marrakech…
