The Guadalquivir delta has been the scene of many musical cultures. Flamenco appeared 150 years ago as a particular syncretism of oriental and occidental elements. An art of song, guitar and dance, it is above all and quintessentially the work of a few gypsy families who long ago settled in this area of A n d a l u s i a . The film explores the art through one of the last flamenco families.
